Larry Wenger ’65 of Newtown, Pennsylvania, has worked in non-profit leadership positions for many years. In 2005 he founded Workforce Performance Group, a training company dedicated to the support of non-profit leaders as well as owners and operators of small businesses. He is also a field instructor for several major graduate schools of social work along the East Coast.

Earlier this year, Wenger published his first book, “Employee Centered Management: The Coming Revolution in Social Services.” His book suggests that to really serve clients well, social work agencies need staff who are healthy physically, psychologically and spiritually. Drawing on 40 years as a human service leader, Wenger identifies 20 strategies that allow non-profit social service agencies to keep employees enthused and excited about their work.

“Employee Centered Management: The Coming Revolution in Social Services” is available at Amazon.com, your local bookseller or from the author directly. Contact Wenger at 877-872-6195 or by email at lwenger@workforceperformancegroup.net.
